Beautiful scenery, saw lots of dolphins. Daughter and son tour guides were knowledgeable and patient. We never felt rushed. Would definitely do again.

RELAXING, that’s a great way to describe our tours at Round Island Riverside Park. Thank you so much for joining us on a guided tour. I understand the winds were blowing pretty hard the day of your tour but you all were champs and still had a great time. We would love to have you and your group out with us again when the winds aren’t blowing as hard. Take care and stay safe, Charlie Owner of Get Up and Go Kayaking-Fort Pierce/Vero Beach

Our family had a great time on this kayaking tour. The weather was overcast and windy, which made most other outdoor activities this day hard, but Get Up and Go Kayaking was flexible and was able to do our tour in a less windy area. The tour is about 2 hours and very active, but not difficult even for our kids (ages 14, 13 and 9). They provide tandem clear kayaks that are very easy to maneuver and a guide who is experienced and knowledgeable. Our tour took us around and through mangroves and we kayaked an estuary where we saw a pod of dolphins, crabs, stingrays, herons, and two small sharks. We were able to get out of the kayaks and explore a little - we held jellyfish and hermit crabs and a pufferfish. We will definitely be back to try one of their other locations as well next time we are in the area.

Thank you Julia for the great review. Yes, the winds this week were CRAZY but we were able to move the tour from our Fort Pierce location to our sister location in Vero Beach, just 5 short miles away. We love when the entire family joins us on a tour as the route is not too difficult for even a beginner kayaker. I am glad you and your family were able to see so much of the wildlife and sea-life this area has to offer. Every time I see a pod of dolphin, it always “WOWS” me!!!! And the comb Jellies are o interesting too. If you ever do our nighttime GLOW Tour, we usually come across them and then you can see their bioluminescent glow. Amazing!!! Thank you for keeping small business alive!!! Stay safe, Charlie Owner of Get Up and Go Kayaking-Fort Pierce/Vero Beach

We had the best time with our guide- we felt safe and they did a great job making accommodations to COVID with 6ft distancing. We toured the mangroves in Fort Pierce and even had enough time to go toward the inlet and saw a pod of dolphins! He had a lot of knowledge of the area being a native to Fort Pierce. Very relaxing and did not require too much stamina. Tour was roughly 2 hours would recommend for novice kayakers and experienced kayakers! Great idea for couples and families when the beach isn’t your plan for the day! Thank you!!!

Love the review!!! Yes, seeing the pod of dolphin was quite the pleasant and last moment idea that really paid off for all of us. I enjoy seeing the guests faces when we get a chance to see wildlife in their natural environment and on their terms. Please come back and visit us again on another tour in Fort Pierce or visit us at our sister location in Vero Beach, just a short 10 minute drive to the North. Thank you for supporting us and local business. Stay safe out there. Charlie Owner of Get Up and Go Kayaking-Fort Pierce/Vero Beach
