Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

Clearwater Beach

Come join us on a fun filled, narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater’s harbor. Enjoy a relaxing ride while you learn about our abundant wildlife, and view the area’s dolphins in their natural environment. Every trip stops at Compass Island where you can collect shells, swim, snorkel and the kids can even hunt for treasure! Excursions depart from the Clearwater Beach Marina multiple times every day. Spend an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes with our highly trained crew in the Clearwater Harbor on board our brand new 40 foot Coast Guard inspected excursion boat. For twenty to thirty minutes during your trip, the boat will stop at Compass Island where you will have the opportunity to shell hunt through thousands of shells, swim, snorkel (gear is provided) and enjoy the island.

Rejoignez-nous pour une visite guidée amusante et commentée du port de Clearwater. Profitez d'une promenade relaxante tout en découvrant notre faune abondante et observez les dauphins de la région dans leur environnement naturel. Chaque voyage s'arrête à Compass Island où vous pouvez ramasser des coquillages, nager, faire de la plongée avec tuba et les enfants peuvent même chasser au trésor ! Les excursions partent de la marina de Clearwater Beach plusieurs fois par jour. Passez une heure et demie à une heure et quarante-cinq minutes avec notre équipage hautement qualifié dans le port de Clearwater à bord de notre tout nouveau bateau d'excursion de 40 pieds inspecté par la Garde côtière. Pendant vingt à trente minutes pendant votre voyage, le bateau s'arrêtera à Compass Island où vous aurez l'occasion de chasser des coquillages à travers des milliers de coquillages, de nager, de plonger (le matériel est fourni) et de profiter de l'île.

I've been on multiple dolphin boat rides out in Clearwater, when our family goes on vacation it's something they always look forward to seeing. I chose and paid for this one 2 weeks in advance. well this experience was absolutely the worst. First of all as were all getting ready to leave to get on the boat they called and cancelled asking us if we could reschedule for the next day at 11, due to "high sails". so after seeing the kids upset, we decided to take the kids fishing and as were getting the bait, the dolphin sighting boats were ALL still sailing. so to guarantee the experience we were looking for we book another ride with a different company and had a great time but it's crazy we seen the boat we were supposed to be on out in the water after they just cancelled on us. But what's more disappointing the next day right before were about to leave for the boat ride that was rescheduled they cancelled again!! Never will I ever book with this company again.They cancel last minute 2x with no valid reason and leave your kids disappointed.
