Be aware that many of the normal sites may be closed or only partially open (i.e. first floor only). We were there on June 23rd. The last leg of our walking tour was from Randolph House down to Botetourt, cut over to Duke of Gloucester then down to the Capitol. Randolph House was closed (you could poke your head in the buildings in the back), as were Cabinetmaker, Raleigh Tavern, Bakery, Apothecary, and Charlton's Coffee House. The map we were handed at the Visitor Center did not show these as closed. At least the Capitol was open.
What was open was interesting, of course, but I couldn't help but feel we didn't quite get what we paid for.
