We were not there for the whole day and my Husband only wanted to go to the Governor's place and they told us it would be $40.00, that is crazy. I think they should have an ala cart for people who do not want to do all of the buildings. On top of that you saw people that worked there just standing around because not a lot of people were buying the admission ticket. This was our first time and my Dad had spoken so highly of this place, but felt that this could have been managed better. If you think about it even charging $7 to $10, would have been better than people walking out feeling disgusted like I did. Then we went to the bakery the lady was so rude there. I asked how much a cup of ice was was and she told me $1.00, so I said that was fine because I have to have ice with my drink,so the gentleman was very nice and I asked him if I could add some water to cup and he said sure. So I get up there and I told her what the gentleman said I could do and she said I will have to charge you $3.00,now that was crazy, they were already getting $1.00 for the ice I was getting, so I told her I will go dump my water out and I will just get the ice. I did just that and it was not like we did not spend $11.00 in items before my cup of ice. Very rude poor business practice. The only thing we did do and had a ball was the Ghost Tour, that was fun. Then we went to Jamestown, there you can do all kinds of things and you can touch stuff and sit on stuff and the price is nothing compared to the price they charge at Williamsburg and they take AAA discount, we loved Jamestown. We highly recommend it. As for Williamsburg the only thing we might do if we come back is to do the ghost tour that goes in the buildings. Thank You
