Fun and different. Our guide Mallory (hope I have the right spelling!) was very nice and knowledgeable. It was fun to discover a new neighbourhood. The only downsides:
-our group was too big. It was sometimes difficult to hear everything Mallory had to say and we often had to wait.
-I did a few food tours in Europe over the years. Most of them were less expensive and the portions were more generous.
But over all I would definitely recommend if you would like to do something different while in the city.
The tour seemed like it could be great but it was one tour guide with more than 20 people. We mised the information she was giving. We felt disappointed because we could have mapped out our own tour if we just wanted to taste test and not hear the history and facts. It would have been better if the group was split in two that way the guide would have felt less overwhelmed and everyone could have heard I'm sure the interesting information she was giving.
The tour was fabulous! Mallory was a great guide and managed to keep 8 14 year old girls happy and interested. The cupcakes were wonderful - but the gelato was out of this world!
