Visite de l'histoire sombre à la Nouvelle-Orléans

Aperçu
Ghosts, legends, and dark history – this is our most popular tour – a walk through the streets of the Old French Quarter, hearing the history of our city through the stories of its restless dead, it’s old legends, it’s great disasters, and unsolved murders. The stories are those that define our city and it’s people and most unsettling, it all really happened! The only tour in the city to focus on the Dark History of New Orleans--the things that made us what we are, but which the city council would just as soon not have you know! Led by pre-Katrina tour guides, and the only company in the city who features people who were licensed pre-Katrina and residents for decades.

Jonathan was wonderfully entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about the true dark history of New Orleans. His tour not only told about the people that haunt the city, but the circumstances that brought them to this point. Over heard other tours that were walking near by us. I truly felt I got the better information than someone yelling at the top of their voice some kind script that they are trained to read off. Jonathan was always open for questions as well, and provided great detailed answers to each question.

The Dead Frenchmen tour is the most interesting tour I’ve been on in New Orleans. Doug is the best tour guide you will meet! Thank heavens for a tour guide who knows his stuff and isn’t all hokey about it. He’s got all details on the dark history you’re hoping to hear and will surprise you with facts about this town. The city has needed this tour for a long time! This is the tour and the tour guide I will recommend to ALL my friends who visit.

I went on the Dark History 2 - Dead Frenchman Tour with some friends and it was my best tour experience yet! Doug is THE BEST tour guide and knows his stuff! He's super polite and an excellent storyteller; it's easy to tell that he has a real passion for dark history and the creepy goings-ons of New Orleans. As a local, it was refreshing to take a different path away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street and learn some of the stories about places I *thought* I was familiar with. This tour was captivating and thoroughly enjoyable; highly recommended to locals and tourists, alike!
