This 7-hour tour begins with a trip to Waterbury and Stowe, where we will visit a number of popular local attractions. Treat your taste buds at the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill, then visit the historic Trapp Family Lodge — the same Von Trapp family that inspired The Sound of Music. Our Vermont tours visit only the most interesting locations, such as a scenic drive to the top of Smugglers’ Notch State Park. You will also have a chance to explore Stowe village.

Enfin, notre dernière visite de la journée se fera au centre-ville de Stowe. Avec une population d'un peu plus de 4 300 personnes, ce village accueille de nombreux événements tout au long de l'été, dont un festival de montgolfières et de nombreux spectacles d'art et d'artisanat. I went on a day tour to Waterbury and Stowe with Natalia on 30 Sep. Her bubbly personality made me feel very comfortable around her right from the start. Our group only had one other couple besides me, so the ride in her car was really spacious and comfortable. We were blessed to have come at the peak of fall foliage in Vermont and all the places described in her itinerary (red barn, Stowe town, Smugglers Notch, Von Trapp family lodge) were simply stunning. Natalia knows Vermont at the back of her hand, so was able to take some graveled roads to show us many more scenic views in the back country. She also took the effort to show us some extras such as driving through a covered bridge, and going to this secret spot to capture a postcard view of the white church against the colourful hills. The highlight for me was the Smugglers Notch State Park. Imagine winding through 20 minutes of non-stop leaf peeping as we ascend up the notch and down. At the base of the notch, we paused to take in a viewpoint and even packed in a tiny walk. Felt so relaxed and stress-free. Overall, the pacing of this tour was very good, with lots to see and do without feeling rushed. Highly recommended!

Natalia was amazing! She was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the Stowe area. If we are ever back in Stowe, Vermont we most definitely will choose her tour again. We really enjoyed the small size of our tour group.

Woodstock VT is an idyllic quaint place. Beautiful homes, old library with so much history , lots of cafes, and wonderful restaurants,
