Our guide, Gus, could not have been kinder and more knowledgeable about Maui's history and culture. It was just two of us so we customized our stops...we saw beautiful waterfalls, historic churches alive with local culture, met many of the peaceful, generous locals. The black sand beaches were breathtakingly beautiful as were the caves and all of the glorious vegetation! The stop for warm banana bread at a roadside stand was not to be missed. The extra cost is worth it to be able to take your time on the things you most want to visit. Highly recommend this company!

5 of us traveled with Gus along the beautiful road to Hana on our first day in Maui, and this experience exceeded all expectations. We were an adult family group of 5, including a 91year old great grandmother with some mobility issues, and Gus enthusiastically worked to personalize this tour to suit all of us. From picking us up at the Norwegian ship, to giving us historical background information in his comfortable van, to showing us sights and stopping to observe surfers, wild volcanic beaches, waterfalls, colorful vegetation and wildlife, and beautiful vistas, to warm banana bread and lunch, we all felt that we came away with a deeper understanding and respect for Hawaii, and Maui. Driving with generous "aloha", Gus maneuvered the van so his elderly passenger could see from the window while the rest of us walked to waterfalls, etc. Thank you Holo Holo, for this wonderful trip!

What an amazing tour with an incredible tour guide!! Gustavo gave us a tour on the road to Hana. He has a vast knowledge of the plants and their origins, history of the Maui, and is so friendly! We were able to see so much beauty that we would have never found on our own. Who knew we could have so much fun on a rainy day! Thank you Gustavo!!! 10/10 would recommend :)
