Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We toured with Don and Captain Larry on Jan. 2, 2020. They were both very knowledgable and focused on non-intrusive behavior around the manatees. They expertly guided us to two locations that both had a number of manatee. One was a cove where 30 or so manatees were sleeping and feeding. Our 11yo and 14yo kids had an amazing experience! Don stayed in the water with us the entire time we were snorkeling. He guided us and gave us cues and tips on how to behave for the best experience. We were also super happy to be able to purchase a jump drive with 300 photos taken by Don during our trip. We highly recommend these guides!

Thanks so much for choosing Crystal River Watersports for your tour, and for taking the time to write such a terrific review! Larry and Don are great, and we are lucky to have them on staff. We are delighted that you enjoyed the tour, and your swim with the manatees. Don does an amazing job with pictures, and many people find that it is worth spending the $30 for the manatee thumbdrive with pictures because it means that you can just enjoy the tour, and the experience of swimming with the manatees and don't have to be concerned with trying to get "the perfect shot". We include 170 of our best pictures from throughout the year, about a dozen of the best videos, and of course all of the photos taken on your particular tour. While guests are welcome to bring their own cameras and take their own photos, many are relieved to know that they don't have to buy an underwater camera, case for their phone or anything else. Thank you again for the lovely review, and we are so happy that you enjoyed your experience swimming with the manatees.

We had a wonderful time with Dan and Captain Larry! They were professional, friendly and showed a wholehearted commitment in the well being of us AND the manatees. Especially if animals are involved, it is crucial, that the rights and the well being of the animals is respected. If you would like to see Manatees, take your tour with Dan and Larry

Our family of 10 (including 12, 4 & 3 year old grandkids) had a wonderful time on the boat and swimming with the manatees. We learned a lot about the wildlife around the area and about the manatees.
