Don and Rudy did a great job escorting our jeep tour this morning throughout back roads. While we didn’t get to see much in the way of wildlife, with the exception of an incredible spotting of a female moose, it was highly informative and the various stops were great. Don and Rudy provided great color commentary and were highly knowledgeable.

Disappointing day. The only animal we saw was a dead porcupine. We basically drove, stop to look at flowers and trees and drove and drove. Didn't get any great pictures. Learned a bit on the drive from the guides, but it wasn't a real Denali experience. Snacks were provided which was just a snack size bag of Doritos. Wish we would have just booked the Denali bus so my kids could experience more.

This was a nice scenic tour down a dirt highway, but was REALLY hoping to see some animals but we didn’t. So their backup plan if they don’t see any wildlife is apparently to stop and pick blueberries. It was ok, but I would rather have driven slower to see if we could see any wildlife instead of speeding down the road and then stopping to pick blueberries.
