This was an excursion we bought from Holland America. It was fun driving along the Denali highway. Following the leader makes it so much easier and I can relax and look at the scenery as well. Our guide Jacob and Austin were very considerate, offering to take our photos. The scenery they took us were very pretty! But not much wildlife sighting. It was really just our luck. The weather was very nice and we have Mt. Denali on a clear view. Overall, it was a fun trip! Jacob kept us entertained all through the drive through the radio equipped in every car. There must be around 10 jeeps. He would warn us if there was a car coming on the opposite way so we won't drive on the other lane while dodging pot holes. Thank you Jacob and Austin!

Beautiful scenery but too much road time. Expected more two tracking. Driving too fast on the way back prevented us from seeing wildlife like we wanted. Our guides we're great.

Thanks for your great comments about our guides! Our excursion is advertised as a scenic Jeep tour. Although our tour is on a gravel road, we do not go "off-roading," "mudding," or "two tracking." There are ATV tours in our area that offer an experience like that. We do our best to drive at slower speeds to see wildlife, mountains, and glaciers.

Each jeep was outfitted with a radio to communicate with leader, but the only time leader communicated with us was for the test to make sure they were functional. It would have been so much nicer had he told us what we were seeing driving down the road. Road was so dusty at times you could not see the jeep in front of you. In addition we turned on the AC in jeep and a lot of dust blew out into the Jeep. We had to turn AC off immediately due to husband's camera out taking pictures. I understand road is dusty, but to not change air filter is something they could take care of. No way was this worth the money.
