Guide was informative about the families and how the house was built. It was a rainy day but the people who work there know their history. Kiddos to the worker in the gift shop who could answer my question about the land ownership after the Civil war!

Captain Matt was such a fabulous tour guide! The respect he showed for the wild life and the environment and his knowledge was superb. He was entertaining as well. The plantation tour was canceled due to attendance but we received a full refund since we had booked the combo.

Great experience overall. The pickup was right on time. The plantation tour was great and informative. And the swamp tour was the highlight. Would highly recommend considering this boat is covered and not an airboat like others wear you are strapped in with ear cover. The tour guide Dewey was great and made the experience great. He alone is the reason this is getting 5 stars. He made the highlight of our whole trip. I would just like to inform whoever runs this, that the partner company who is in charge of the pick up and drop off, might cost them some reviews. When we left the plantation, the driver left 5 minutes earlier than what he said he would, and didn’t even check if everyone was on. He just got on the bus and started driving. Unfortunately he did leave a group at the plantation and they did not get to participate in the swamp tour. I believe they even left groups at the swamp as well. So I HIGHLY recommend to any group, return to the bus before the mentioned time. But both experiences were great and the swamp tour was the highlight of our trip. Would definitely recommend the swamp tour with Dewey alone.
