A Good quick, early morning bike ride before it gets too hot, 3 hour excursion from downtown Waikiki to Diamond Dead and back. Guide Supplied a great bike with water. And on the way back, we got takeout lunch and stopped at local park to eat on way back. Got papaya curried chicken and banana scone from local neighborhood busy carryout. Food was great. I’m confident that on future rides , visitors would get great local food at other local places. My Guide had a microphone and wireless speaker on my bike so I could clearly hear him providing verbal warning / safety signals and interesting commentary as we rode through neighborhoods, as he pointed out many sites along the way up to Diamond Head. We met several locals, walking/ biking along the way through town and on the hiker trail to the top of diamond head, that recognized him. So, he is a really knowledgeable tour guide on this particular bike/hike trip, and likely as well as his other Waikīkī area tours. The provided three-speed bike was manual, but they were great pedaling- no problems with the minor hills. Guide noted he provides electric bikes as needed for other small group rides. In spring /summer 2025 you had best check the Diamond Head State Monument’s website due to construction and possible closures. And remember coordination with your tour guide for a correct time to get your timed “entry only“ pass as a bike/walk-in to Diamond Head State Monument from Hawaii parks, so that you can get entry at an appropriate time.

Our guide Kelly was personable informative about the area. He was also health conscious, making sure we were hydrated and comfortable while riding and hiking.
