This is a fun way to see parts of Honolulu and get some local flavor while also hiking Diamond Head volcanic crater. The bike ride is relaxing. A few uphill spots but nothing too taxing. Most of it is along bike paths or sidewalks, with a few spots riding on the busy road, but the guide does a great job of making everyone feel safe and watching for traffic. If you know how to ride a bike and are in even basic shape it's totally fine. The bikes themselves are nice and ride well. There is space on the bike to hold your phone and small wallet. There is a portable speaker on each so the guide can communicate with everyone easily during the tour. The hike up Diamond Head is a good one. You park your bikes at the base and walk up. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour up. We saw all ages from small kids to senior citizens hiking it. There are gorgeous views at the top that are well worth the climb! It would be nice if there was way to integrate getting the $5 per person Diamond Head access pass with the tour instead of having to book it separately, but that's an issue with the state of Hawaii, not the tour guide. As it was, it was easy enough to do. After the hike we stop at a local bakery and cafe for snacks and light lunch. It was a nice break after the ride/hike and the food was great. There are bathrooms at the hike site and also the bakery afterwards. All in all this is a big thumbs up. Fun way to see part of the city and not feel so touristy. It was enjoyable and well organized and a great alternative to hopping in a tour bus. We definitely recommend it! P.S. Kelly the guide takes a ton of pictures during the tour and shares them all afterwards so you won't even need your phone out!

The Diamond Head Bike to Hike tour was fantastic! Outstanding equipment, very organized, safe, and informative. Kelly was an amazing guide. He was patient and very connected with all of the riders. Lunch was excellent. This was by far the best excursion we experience in Hawaii. Do it!
