Austin, the tour guide, gave excellent background to every stop highlighting the multicultural richness of the area’s history. Every venue was well organized and sample dishes/pair drinks were delicious.

We took the tour with Danny on Sunday September 25th. There were 16 people on the tour. We were 7 of the group. The whole group was a lot of fun. The places we stopped were all interesting and Danny did a wonderful job of sharing stories about the places and giving foodie tidbits. He was great about offering suggestions and listening to each of the participants' interests. He possessed a prodigious amount of knowledge about the local food scene as well as a fairly impressive amount of knowledge in a wide variety of locations outside of Denver. He was humorous and thoughtful and really put up with a fair amount of us ribbing him. My husband and I have been on numerous food tours and really enjoy them, but this one was very good for primarily two reasons, Danny's prodigious food scene knowledge and his translating that knowledge into personalized recommendations to each of the tour participants. His "foodie" knowledge was not only of the food scene of Denver in general, but also, the particular spots we were visiting and then making specific recommendations based on participants' favorite food or where they were staying (for out of towners) or in the case of our son and wife, who were on the tour, about specific spots near where they live in Denver. A nice touch that is definitely not something we've gotten on previous food tours is that he actually gave specific written restaurant recommendations to the participants at the end of the tour. The last thing I can say about Danny is that he did an outstanding job of engaging each tour participant and trying to learn what our interest were.
