DTLA Murder Mystery Ghost Tour

This was an awesome evening downtown! Our tour guide was great, and we visited some really cool locations both inside and out. Getting to sit at the bars and have a drink at the places we just learned all the mysterious history about was an added perk! If you like mysteries, true crime, ghosts, or just want to see some nice architecture around the city, I would definitely recommend this!

Chris was an amazing tour guide and we had a great time. The locations were fun to see and the stories were amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to know more about the history of LA and loves True Crimes :). We cannot wait to go on another tour with this group!

So I am on vacation friends decide to do the DTLA real Los Angeles Tour reserve 4 tickets after they promptly responded and said yes could squeeze in your.I arrive 15 min early per instructions. It says to go to Pershing Square across from Starbucks and look for a guy with their logo shirt.By the way never specify or have pic of what looking for n has a vague pic of stairs where your imaginary tour guide is..Oh even better as we are standing in meeting point there was mob of people but for outside ICP concert going on at the same time.So then I call up the company after all they were print when they knew I wanted to purchase tickets. But never not only did not give us your guide name pic of him or logo of even shirt. But they had noone answering the phones so I tried over n over Atleast four time till now half hour been standing there and your starts at six it's quarter after. So I email no prompt response. Finally I look at where first stop on tour is and it's the Biltmore and I get notifications that I have email they tell me oh yes your tour guide is in the bar at Biltmore right now.Ladies n Gents do u know what was happening at that bar a private memorial for Kobe Bryant God rest his soul.So I am getting more n more hot under collar call no answer email and say look basically now way your guide is crashing a private memorial gathering for a ghost tour he's not here they say well you can proceed to next stop each stop is 15 minutes. So I walk to next place 1 min to after the 15 mark n this old abandon hotel not in use and door open n matience guy says hello..I said yes did DTLA Ghost tours just come thru here this was there next stop on tour .No mam no way possible they stopped those tours haven't done them in years.I showed him and police officer I saw the tour schedule explain everything and they said it's seems Ma'am you got scammed.I walked the whole tour no tour ever in site asked all stop places at any point had they seen a group. No one had it didn't happen. So I got mad and took action took time stamped photos of whole tour spots n pic of bar at Biltmore where they said tour guide was .That was a memorial service .N I printed copies of emails and log of call history to prove number times I called n length to show they clearly could not of answered phone in length of time n spoke with me.Then with all that beside warning you folks on here was Better Business bureau I reported them to and put them on scam website.Bc. I told them I want 145.00 dollars returned on my card immediately and they have not returned my calls emails or credited money back n they knew I was having as they said communication breakdown by being lost on tour unable find guide. It may not seem like alot of money to be upset over .But we were looking forward to it.No I'm sorry or customer or people skills for that manner from company bad business morals n ethics. No calls or interaction after the problem n during makes red flags go up of scam.

We have been in contact with Debi regarding her situation. In the booking confirmation email there is a photo, a link to a google map marker and a description of the meeting point. Over a thousand guests have found the tour meeting point in this way and our other guests that night (6 of them in total) were there on time and did the tour as normal. Unfortunately Debi did not let us know that she couldn't find the guide until after the tour had already begun. We advise guests to be at the meeting point 15 minutes early – as you can see if you look at the tour description here on TripAdvisor. We also warn guests that if they are late they may miss the tour. Why is that? Because, by its very nature, a tour is mobile and once it's moving it is very hard to track down in a city like LA. The guide held the tour for 15 minutes to give Debi more time to find the meeting point. In spite of the fact that the office was closed by then we did get back to Debi to tell her to look for the guide at the Biltmore Hotel. Even though our stated policy is that there is no refund or exchange if guests fail to show up for their tour we did offer Debi a part exchange, but we’re yet to hear back from her.
