We went rafting with the Mountain Rafting Co and had a wonderful time. We went on the 4 hour trip. We took our 11 year old grandson and 7 year old granddaughter with us. They had a fabulous time. The guides are more than fantastic. There was a group that had children a lot younger than ours. This is totally family friendly.. We even went on the Mesa Verde tour and had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time on the river!! We had to schedule this trip last minute due to our train trip being cancelled because of the fire. We are so glad we did this. We were a party of 4 adults including a 65 year-old grandma (me) and 4 children ages 4-7. The kids were fine and had a blast. We did the half-day trip. We had a fantastic guide, Sydney, who made sure we all had a great time. We will definitely do this again next time we are in town since some in our party were not able to go this time. It is a bit strenuous to do the rowing but I am not in shape and had no problem! Thanks, Mountain Waters!!

My 17 year old daughter and I did the 4 hour excursion down the lower Animas with these guys and it was awesome. The entire staff was top-notch. Taylor at the office was friendly, polite and very helpful which made for a great start to the morning. Tyler was our raft guide and we enjoyed every minute with him on the water and Michael was the other raft's guide and he was a blast too. The whole group was great, congratulations to the owners for their hiring process. It is great to be able to build new relationships with people you are with for a half day excursion and their staff made that easy!! 5 stars all around! We will see you again!
