If you like history and want to know how Myrtle Beach was in the beginning and specifically during the years of the second world war, this trolley tour may interest you. It shares the city's origin story and tells what it was like to live there during WWII with U-boat threats off the coast and the arrival of German POWs. It makes stops at Myrtle Beach's first golf course, Pine Lakes International Country Club, and the Historic Myrtle Beach Colored School Museum. Guests gather in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common to begin boarding at 9:45 AM. The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. If you would like more of an introduction to the city's history, you may enjoy the Myrtle Beach History, Movies and Music trolley tour. Both tours were created to compliment each other in order to give guests a more comprehensive look at Myrtle Beach's past. GUESTS MUST BE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OLD FOR THIS TOUR. It is best that you book prior to the Monday before your desired tour.

We were in Myrtle Beach for the week of Christmas and were looking for something to do. We have used this company before while visiting Alaska. We found this historical trolley tour. It was FANTASTIC!!!! Our tour guide, Katherine, was absolutely amazing (we joked amongst our party that we would love to spend the day with her going all around the town listening to all of the history that is hidden in her brain). She was so well spoken, a wealth of knowledge and overall just a friendly and professional tour guide! Highly recommend this tour if you are in the area and enjoy history.

This means the world to me. Thank you so much. Please, when you are here again, I would love to share my other three tours with you. And, if it were at all possible, it would be fantastic if you could join me for the one-time-only, six-hour motorcoach tour and buffet on 6/8/24, that commemorates the 80th anniversary of the arrival of German POWs in Myrtle Beach. I have a lot more to tell about them.
