Darnall the tour operator was a fantastic host and a real character. He really looked after us and went above and beyond to help us and give us the info and history . This is a fantastic tour if you’re an Elvis fan - we thoroughly recommend! Thanks Darnall

This was a fun tour! It was a very small group, which was really nice. Darnell was very conversational and made sure we got to see lots of good Elvis history- I think he might know all of Tupelo and Memphis! Honestly, this was better than Graceland.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this at all. communication was extremely poor, pickup over 3hrs 20 mins after agreed time from our Hotel lobby! pickup car was approx. 25 yrs old, and in extremely poor condition, smashed windshield and no rear view mirror, dented up. I had to phone and pursue to get the trip delivered on the day, very stressful. was never called at all, and Viator help and myself could not reach Mr Darnell, despite phoning his mobile number. Then when he finally responded via text He asked me to phone him! and kept changing the pickup time. This went on for over 3 Hours. We didn't dare leave our Hotel Lobby, so we didn't lose our Money on a no show, and when he eventually did get to Memphis to pick us up, he even then went to the wrong Hotel!!, then on route we had to stop to get fuel in the car and for him to get a coffee. We was dropped off at Elvis birthplace visitor centre car park, and it was self guided. not a luxury trip and guide as advertised. Due to our very late arrival and delay, the hardware store was closed. We ended up with 1.5 hrs in Tupelo and then returned to Memphis. Darnell Johnson is a likeable character, but the delivery was very poor indeed, not worth the money and no customer care of the failing at all. It meant we missed planned activities upon our return to Memphis. The night before Mr Darnell had messaged and tried to move the day of the trip to the following day, despite it being confirmed by Viator and paid, but we were due to fly back home. I firmly believe that he carried out another activity on the morning. He made an excuse about his driver staying over in Nashville, but I think he is the only person running the Business, as he is always named or pictured in the reviews, and the Tel number is his personal mobile ( not an office number). It was a very disappointing end to our Holiday, that caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. I'm glad my wife got to see it, but the experience was very low budget, lacking any professional delivery and not worth half of what it cost, let alone the stress and anxiety it caused on the day.
