This IS A GREAT ADVENTURE FOR ALL AGES. You GET GREAT VIEWS OF THE ALLIGATORS andTHE VASTNESS OF THE EVERGLADES AND ITS VEGETATION. There Iis a lot to see and learn while on the boat tour. . The alligator show is worth the price of admission and the workers who work with the alligators are very talented. a great way to spend a few hours.

If you booking this tour to take a nice airboat ride through the Everglades and to see alligators. Save your money. Of the hr long tour we did maybe a 2 mile loop upon which everyone of their other boats was doing. You spent about 5 minutes of the hour on plane, the rest of it you are just sitting in the water slowly going from one spot to another learning about the grasses, birds, and what other creatures they may have not scared off by all their boats hovering around the same small area. Informative, but not what I was looking to experience. We maybe saw one alligator in the weeds. Could not really tell for sure. In about 15 minutes I started to get bored and was ready for it to end. As our captain first said when we got on the boat, this is a Everglades tour, not and alligator tour. So maybe my expectations were wrong. The sad part is the little alligator show they have at the end is the best part. Not to say that it is much, but at least the handler can make you laugh.

Like you mentioned, the airboat tour is geared towards the Everglades in its entirety, including the grasses and wildlife. We're sorry you only saw one gator, they are very unpredictable and don't always like to come out. We're happy to know you at least enjoyed the gator show! Captain Charlie was an excellent guide on our air boat tour, he was very informative and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to find us gators to see, which we saw three. He showed us different wildlife in the area and was very friendly. The gator show was an added Bonus as Paul was there doing the show. He was comical and very knowledgeable about alligators. Over all we had a great experience with our grandson.
