Everglades National Park is unique on our planet. It is a wonderful, water-filled paradise that is best accessed by a quiet, slow-moving, shallow draft boat. One of the best loved residents of the Park are Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. Watching dolphin, in their natural habitat, interacting with each other, something that you will never forget.

Our full-time, formally trained, Florida Master Naturalist guides will safely take you deep into the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades. While searching for dolphins, manatees and some of the 300 different species of birds that call the Park home, you will learn about the different Everglades ecosystem, its long history and rich culture.

You will have fun and learn a lot. Don't forget your cameras!

Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

We went on boat-assisted kayak eco tour. Captain Dan was incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We all loved him! We saw lots of wildlife. We thought there would be more kayaking. It was mostly boating. Still a great tour.

We did a boating and kayaking trip and the TRIP and GUIDES were AMAZING!! Sadly the owner of the company is a jacka$$ and doesn’t deserve your money. Which is a shame for the guides. We had an amazing trip. And tipped our guides well. Very knowledgeable, easy going, and fun. Hard to recommend this company based on who is behind it.

Much water. Few living things. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable, and engaging. But the route was a huge disappointment. We saw water, mangroves, a few porpoises. The rest was water for almost 3 hours. The tour description should make this clear. It sounded like a trip through alligator alley. But the boat bounced over water hour after hour. The last hour was actually painfully boring.

I am sorry that you were disappointed in the experience. It sounds as if your were expecting to see alligators and that you may have booked the wrong tour. We see alligators on our Alligators and Orchids Tour and the Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Eco Tour. These two tours, above, are conducting in alligator habitat. The Everglades National Park Expedtion consists of two parts ... a boating tour and a walking tour on an unihabited island in the Coastal Everglades. This ecosystem is NOT alligator habitat. This is part of the tour description from our website ... "First you will enjoy a quiet, leisurely boat tour through the Park's Ten Thousand Islands coastal ecosystem. Your naturalist guide will be on the hunt for all types of wildlife... Everyday and every tour is different. But, depending on the season and the day's conditions, you may encounter dolphins, manatees, roseate spoonbills, pelicans, ospreys, eagles, ibis, herons, egrets, multitudes of sea and shore birds, sea turtles and other saltwater creatures. After the boating tour and as conditions allow, your captain will lead you on an interpretive stroll on one of the Park's many uninhabited, barrier island beaches. These remote islands can only be accessed by boat so relatively few people every set foot where you will go. Expect to see a natural, undisturbed Florida beach, strewn with shells... likely more shells than you have ever seen. There are lots of hands-on learning opportunities in and around the tidal flats, tidal pools, wrack-lines and beach dunes." I do realize that it may be tough to remain engaged if you are disappointed. I invite you to try one of the "alligator" tours as my guest. Please contact me to make arrangements. Again I am sorry that you did not get what you expected.
