Enjoy an adventurous winter activity during your time in Fairbanks. On this snowmobile tour, your guide will show you how to operate the snowmobile before leading you out to your adventure, through a true winter wonderland, exploring the frozen rivers, lakes and snow-covered mountains around the Chena Lakes recreation area outside of North Pole.

It is very important that you arrive 30 minutes before your tour time for your safety briefing and gear check to avoid inconveniencing other tours running throughout the day. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your safety briefing, you will forfeit your tour and no refunds will be given. Tours cannot be rescheduled.

If you are using a GPS, do NOT take Conifer Drive. Take Nelson Road only. Allow 45 minutes travel time from Fairbanks.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Tours are subject to change due weather conditions or lack of snow.
Minimum driving age is 18 with a valid driving license. Ages from 7 to 17 may ride as a passenger only.
Children age 6 and younger are not allowed
Driving time will be around 60 minutes. Safety briefing and fitting of the helmets etc. will be approximately 25 minutes extra, so you must arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.
Optional upgrade to 2 hours is possible pending resources. (Please call office direct).

What an incredible experience! Our tour guide Kathy was so friendly and engaging, and she constantly paid attention to us and our needs along the way. She led us on an hour long snowmobile tour that was fun and fast paced. We thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the machines and feeling how powerful they were. Kathy stopped plenty of times to give us picture taking opportunities and even came through to take pictures of us. We would absolutely do this again in a heartbeat!

This was a wonderful experience, and Kathy was a great guide! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy first exposure to snow machines!

We had a great experience Snowmobiling in North Pole. Our guide Kathy was very friendly and was clear with the instructions and guided us well all along the tour. Overall a very fun experience. Would definitely recommend!!
