The first 45 minutes were sitting on our bikes in the middle of town listening to an unenthusiastic guide tell some local facts. The next part was a little better because we actually road the bikes. Went to the distillery which is fun, but the bike tour added no extra value. Then went to the brewery and for the $70 bike package got a free 5 ounce tasting. I would just rent a bike and do the tour on your own.

I am truly sorry you did't have the experience you were expecting on your tour. This review gives us a great opportunity to set guest expectations as yours were clearly not met. Our tour is designed to highlight the sights of Breckenridge in a tasteful and delightful way while adding a social component that is great for creating lasting memories on unique bikes. The tour is great for corporate team building, families, friends and groups with a wide range of athletic ability that want to learn about Breckenridge, get a little bit of exercise and enjoy guided discovery. We are at 10,000 ft above sea level and the portion sizes provided in the tour are designed so that everyone is safe, and has fun today and tomorrow. Guests can go beyond what is offered by default but we are limited by what we can safely include. For insurance & safety purposes we do not allow guests to ride bikes back to town after the tour has landed. Yes, you can get a DUI on a bike and we don't want that to happen to anyone. This is precisely why we arrange shuttle rides for guests back to town. If you are seeking a frat-party-on-wheels this is not the tour for you, however if you do want to rent bikes we do offer that service as well.

Rented 3 Fat Tire Bikes for the day and rode to Frisco. Only a small portion was actually off road, and to my surprise, the rear tire was flat when we wanted to return. The local bike shop put a new tube in for around $20.00 (45 minutes), and we rallied back to make the deadline of 5:30PM. a 35+ MPH wind blew directly at us and prevented us from making up time. We attempted to use the free bus, BUT was told NO Fat Tire Bikes as they do not fit in the rack. We made it back 20 minutes late and was reimbursed the $20 tube replacement. My bike appeared "tired" and squealed like a child's swing set the entire ride. That would be my only complaint.

Hi Rob from Ridden here! Please accept my sincere apologies as this is an example of why small business owners can essentially never go on vacation. The bike you went out on was our overflow bike that typically only sees the light of day when it absolutely must. Jakob informed me that he reimbursed you for the tube and I am currently processing a refund for you, I'm going to make it even sweeter by giving you either a FREE 1 WEEK BIKE RENTAL for you AND A GUEST VALID FOR 2 YEARS or if you come back this winter a free 1 week ski or snowboard rental. To go two steps farther you can use the promo code ABCSUMMER101 to get an additional 10% off anything you book with us or any of our other partners at AdventureBot. Again sorry for the inconvenience and we look forward to winning your business next time. Side note - though we can't do anything about the wind but we have been known to run a shuttle pickup in Frisco for any of our customers.

One of our best choices for the week we spent in Breckenridge! Great Time! We were fortunate to get Rob, He was fun. We were first-timers to Breckenridge AND fat tire biking and he was super laid back and adjusted to our level (you know, flat-landers from Michigan trying to be physically active above 9,600 feet elevation). We learned some cool stuff about the town and history as well as biking technique. Highly Recommend! We are ready to do some more fat-tire biking and had a great first experience with Ridden in Breckenridge.
