Experience the beauty of a rafting trip along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers, a short drive from Moab. Seemingly untouched by civilization, the landscape of stunning red rock canyons cut by the Colorado River provides awe-inspiring vistas throughout the day. Between thrilling bouncy rapids, you can swim, take photos and listen as your guide shares informative commentary about the ecology, wildlife and human history of the region.

This full-day trip starts by rafting upstream from Moab near stunning Fisher Towers and cover a 14-mile (22-km) section of the Colorado River. A combination of stunning canyon scenery and splashy white water makes for a fun day and photographer’s dream. Between rapids, drift lazily between soaring canyon walls and marvel at the red rock landscape along the river. At lunchtime, your guides serve a buffet-style picnic during a stop on a riverside beach.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking; minimum weight requirement is 50 lbs (23 kg)
Inflatable kayaks are available upon request at no charge, please provide the request in the special requirements field at the time of booking
Please note, prior to departure, all travelers will be required to sign a liability release
Minimum age is 8 years
It is recommended to bring: Sturdy footwear (no shoes like flip flops/sandals such as Chaco's are acceptable), quick dry clothing, spring or fall rain suit, swimsuit or fast drying shorts, sun screen, lip balm, hat and a camera (preferably waterproof)
Every trip needs a minimum of 4 individuals to go out, otherwise the trip is tentative/cannot run if the min. # of people isn't met the day prior

Our guide Will was the best. Knowledgeable and fun. Told a few river stories. Nice lunch of chicken Caesar wraps, fruit, pasta salad and chips. Cold water available. In August more of a float with small rapids, but fun and scenery amazing from the river.

We had a great time at Fisher Towers. Our guide (Paul) let us jump in more times—one time through a rapid. We stopped for lunch with a chicken Caesar wrap and any snacks they stacked, but the best one was the fresh-cut watermelon. We had two teens for the full day, which was perfect. There were other families with younger children for a half-day trip, and that was good for them.

Super nice day trip down the Colorado. Our guide Will was great and offered some cool history of the area as we floated. We went the first week of July and the weather cooperated as it did not seem that hot at all. Lunch was good and family had a great time. I'd recommend this outfitter if you're still undecided.
