This is one of the best tours we have ever taken. Ted was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made all the details and people involved in the revolution come to life! We had our 12 year old grandson with us who just finished a year of American History in school this year. He was enthralled with Ted's delivery complete with animation. Background details on the life of the participants pulled it all together in an informative and interesting discussion as Ted kept us involved during the entire tour. The group was small - we were 9 that day so easy to hear and follow along. Was a packed 2 hours but walking was done in segments and we had opportunities to rest several times. We did this on the 4th of July - couldn't have chosen a better day!!!

I'm so glad you had a great time learning about Boston's crucial role in spurring the American Revolution—there's no better day than the 4th of July for it! Even on the busiest holidays, however, I always keep my tour groups small... quality history is very difficult if you cannot hear your guide, nor see any primary documents up close. Thank you!

Ted was our guide for two days in a row. We got lucky and one of our public tours ended up being just our family, so it was very intimate and both days we were able to ask a lot of questions. Ted’s knowledge and energy level was what made these two days the highlights of our family vacation. We have 3 kids (18, 17, 13) who love history (big-time Hamilton fans) and Ted truly expanded their appreciation of our county’s beginnings: the good, the bad, the ugly. We booked parts 2 and 3 over two days, and we should’ve done all three! Too much to do in Boston. Ted’s utilization of pictured laminates along with his compelling story-telling ability caused the current day facade of Boston to melt away and we saw the young men harassing the sentry down by the Old State House. I won’t spoil the ending, but the way Ted leaves you in suspense from chapter to chapter truly is a gift of his. You can tell when someone is doing something he/she loves - the match was perfect as we were game to learn more and Ted was game to teach more! Stay at home and read the book if you’re not truly interested in learning about Boston’s role in the history of our country. Run, do not walk, to any of Ted’s tours while in town!!

My sister and I did both chapters, one and two, which were both fantastic! Thank you Ted for your love and enthusiasm of history! This tour is fun, interactive AND enhanced our trip. We can’t say enough positive things. History to life. Fun and interesting NOT boring. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL. Looking forward to a chapter 3 of Bunker Hill.
