De Jackson Hole: excursion d'une journée à Yellowstone Old Faithful, cascades et faune

Cette visite en petit groupe est un moyen fantastique d'observer la faune et de profiter de la beauté de Grand Teton et des nombreux bassins de geysers de Yellowstone.

Nous ferons des arrêts à Oxbow Bend, Old Faithful geyser, Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Valley, Fountain Paint Pots and Mud Pots, West Thumb Geyser Basin, les chutes inférieures du Grand Canyon de Yellowstone, ainsi que plusieurs autres bassins de geyser. La riche histoire, la géologie, les incendies de forêt et la faune du parc national de Yellowstone seront discutés en détail tout au long de la visite.

La faune souvent observée lors de cette visite est le bison, le grizzli, l'ours noir, le loup, l'orignal, le wapiti, l'aigle, le cerf mulet, le pronghorn et le coyote.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Yellowstone tour. While no one day tour can fully do justice to Yellowstone, the tour did deliver the opportunity to see/experience a wide array of wildlife and the natural beauty of the rivers, canyons, waterfalls and geysers. While we covered a lot of ground, the tour was well paced and did not feel overly rushed. We also squeezed in some time in Grant Teton on the the way up and saw the peaks in the early morning light. We appreciated the communication from the team in advance of the tour and the logistics went off without a hitch. The tour bus was clean and comfortable and the refreshments and lunch that were provided were all we needed. Most importantly, the key to any successful tour is a terrific guide, and Kyle was exceptional. He was very personable and his passion for the parks and animals is infectious . HIs background in animal biology and conservation and varied professional experiences made him an incredible resource on the trip and a fascinating person to chat with. As a wildlife photographer he has a keen sense of animal behavior which proved invaluable in spotting wildlife and helping me get the most out of my own photography. I look forward to future tours with Brush Buck and highly recommend Kyle as a guide.

We fully enjoyed a private full day tour with a picnic lunch with Andrew, our personal guide. We enjoyed plentiful wildlife and excellent facts, trivia, historical information, and fun conversation throughout the 10 hour excursion. Our day began with Andrew meeting us at the front desk at our hotel at 6:30 am with a great attitude and plenty of water to make sure we stayed hydrated. We headed out on our journey and he took us right to moose having breakfast. We witnessed bears in the trees, elk, deer, swans, and much more. We were able to see Old Faithful, waterfalls, the Yellowstone Grand Canyon, and many more geo thermal attractions. Andrew made sure we were able to access the restroom when we needed, provided excellent photo opportunities and took our pictures to make sure we avoided selfie accidents. We enjoyed a scenic picnic lunch with excellent sandwiches, chips, and beverages completed with a checkered tablecloth. He also gave us pointers for our remaining time on our trip and ideas for places to dine. This was money well spent.

Seeing all the spectacular views our guide took us to and watching all the different wildlife we saw. Our guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable about Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Mark made the trip so interesting and was a great guide.
