This was actually a six hour trip that we paid over $1700.00 for and only got three hours. This experience was one of the worst ever. I am actually on vacation right now and am doing this two days after our experience. I just want everyone to know that Dave the owner of this company would barely even listen to my complaints (which were very many) starting from the captain then on to the owner himself. I will definitely be doing my review on yelp, Better Business Bureau not to mention Facebook and word-of-mouth. I don’t want anybody to go through what our family went through. First of all, captain Dave (at this time we had no clue who this man was) accused us of not paying. (Twice) No introduction, no welcome on my boat, absolutely nothing. It was Dominic who introduced himself as a mate. Captain Dave was very condescending to my adult children when they asked questions. (No one has ever done this before and of course there will be questions) and when I originally booked this trip I told the owner Dave I would have five toddlers with me and if they would have any interaction at all with fishing? He said they have a great crew that would show the children to some kind of child experience. This never happened and when I mentioned it to the captain from the very beginning he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. We learned from the get go not to talk to the captain. My son had seasickness and the captain kept asking me over and over if we could go back now. WHAT? (I thought they wouldn’t return to the shore for seasickness) When they first send you the contract it says that seasickness is not a medical emergency and that they will not go back (which I was fine with and so was the rest of my family) but it’s like this captain had somewhere else to be because he definitely didn’t want to be there with us. The only one that treated us in a decent manner was Dominic, he was excellent and he tried to do what he could for all of us (17 ppl) After several times of the captain asking me if we can go back I finally said fine we will go back as long as we can fish on the way back. It took us over an hour to get to our fishing location so I figured it would take just as long to get back. We were only at 4o’clock, (three hours into our excursion) at 4:13 he told Dominic to pull in all the lines! I looked at Dominic and said I thought he said we could fish all the way back? and he said, “he told me to pull the lines in”. If I had known he was going to do that I would’ve stayed out our other 3 hours! I then asked Dominic, so we’re done?? He said yes. The little ones were sad and I was furious. The rest of the family was disappointed because out of 17 people only six actually got to fish. The only time the captain was decent to any of us is when we got back because of course he wanted his tip (which he told us was typically 30% of the price of the excursion) I told Dominic that I was not happy and I was not leaving a tip until I talked to the owner. I texted Dave the owner and said “would you like to discuss the terrible experience we had on your boat before I write a review”? We then went back-and-forth and he seemed to think because we caught six tuna and “one big one” that we should be good. He also said that captain Dave told him half of our crew wanted to come back. NOT TRUE. While I was texting owner Dave, Captain Dave went up to my daughter and loudly said “oh no tip”?? in front of everyone that was there, (not just my family but the rest of the customers and crew ) threw his hands up in the air and started clapping. After me trying to tell the owner Dave of our experience and how we didn’t get half of what he said we would, (which was supposed to be a great experience and great memories for my children & grandchildren) he then said if I write this review he will have me in court in Florida. WOW. I told him fine because everything that I’m saying is true. Not once did he apologize for our experience but pretty much tried to put the blame on me for not going to the office when we were immediately told we didn’t pay (twice by captain Dave) The only time owner Dave decided to acknowledge the way we were treated was when the gentleman (who is a reputable business owner) that referred us contacted him and told him that this was not good business, which by then was too late for me. I thank God that the only six people that were able to fish were the little ones and had a good experience with Dominic. Yes my teenagers and adults were disappointed but at least the little ones had a bit of fun. This is the best review I can do in my honest opinion and If I’m not mistaken there will be more reviews from the other adults that were on the boat.

This was our 3rd trip with the LADY PAMELAII team. The first trip was about 6 years ago, and was unforgettable. We first caught some bait fish which was fun for starters. Then onto some bigger game. We caught some BLACKFIN TUNA and pretty good size Bonita. Then using the Bonita as bait we caught an 8 foot GOLDEN HAMMER HEAD SHARK estimated to weigh about 300lbs. You could say it was the trip of a lifetime. We tagged and released the fish and had a replica mount made by Grays Taxdermy and were very satisfied with the results. The captain knew how to put us right on the bite and the mate knew how to handle the tackle and lines. Then a few years later we went out again with the LADY PAMELA II fleet to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from nursing school and the crew wasted no time putting us on the bite. Our daughter was first on the reel and caught an amazing sail fish. The crew said we were extremely lucky to have caught 2 such amazing fish on 2 consecutive trips and I’ve been fishing for a long time and seem to bring an amount of luck and experience but the LADY PAMELA II crew also had everything to do with our success. This year our 3rd trip was not much different. Luck and an experienced crew brought us success once again. This years success was more in the way of bringing home the bacon. Using the kite fishing method we were able to catch a delicious catch of MAHI MAHI and 6 good size BLACKFIN TUNA. A good thing about fishing on a boat going out of THE PORT OF EVERGLADES area is that it is just a short ride from the dock to great fishing grounds where you can catch world class fish. And a good thing about fishing with the LADY PAMELA II fleet is that you are fishing with a world class crew. Matt O

Was absolutely amazing!! Our crew members Adam and Tony were the best. Made sure we were able to get as much fish as possible.
