Voyagez avec un guide dans la capitale nationale et découvrez quelques-uns des secrets de la ville. Nous partirons avec un arrêt petit-déjeuner vers 9h. Nous commençons par visiter certains sites populaires du cimetière d'Arlington, puis nous nous dirigeons vers de nombreux monuments commémoratifs. Lincoln, le Vietnam, la Corée, la Seconde Guerre mondiale, FDR, le Dr King sont les faits saillants. Une visite guidée de la ville est ensuite suivie d'arrêts photo de la Maison Blanche et du Capitole. L'après-midi est temps libre pour le déjeuner ou tout ce que vous souhaitez (généralement environ deux heures). Après la réunion, nous commençons à partir avec un éventuel arrêt bonus avant de quitter la ville, nous arrivons à Williamsburg entre 20h et 22h.

Home of US President's, we will make a picture stop here

Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln memorial is where we will see America's 16th President seated in a chair inside of the Roman Style Temple. The Vietnam War memorial is close by which honors some of the service members of this War. We also will see the wall. The Korean War memorial is close by which honors many of those service members of this War. We will see the wall as well as the 19 statutes of the soldiers.

Ford's Theatre

Learn about some of the history about what happened here in April of 1865 to Abraham Lincoln.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

Roosevelt Memorial honors the nation's 32nd President, who was elected to a record number of terms. You will have an opportunity to visit his four rooms and time travel during his Presidency. Dr. King's memorial is close by and we will visit this site which honor's some of the life of Martin Luther King Jr. You can see some of his speeches as well as learning part of his most famous.

U.S. Capitol

The US Capitol is home to the Legislative branch of the US Government. We will learn about some of it's history, make a picture stop here if parking permits

Le mémorial de Lincoln est l'endroit où nous verrons le 16e président américain assis sur une chaise à l'intérieur du temple de style romain. Le mémorial de la guerre du Vietnam se trouve à proximité et rend hommage à certains des militaires de cette guerre. Nous verrons aussi le mur. The guide, bus driver and person calling to confirm the trip were great somewhat. My complaint was the bus inside was in bad condition seats had rips and tears and duct taped used for repairs. Also we were seated in the last seats of bus even though there were many seats available and open. We were a party of seven and all the other passengers were White it made us feel separated and purposely excluded. The guide did not talk loud enough and rushy with directives and did not seem to be talking to everyone only the people directly in front him. This all made this not a five star rating. The bus made squeaky sounds like it needed some repairs. The driver did a great job and us there safety to and from and sure he kept track that we accounted for all the passengers.

Thank you for traveling with us, we apologize for any inconveniences you say you experienced. Due to covid alot has changed in the transportation industry which should help you better understand what happened. We always start the tours with loading the vehicles now from back to front so that families are limited walking past each other. I am guessing you were the first in line to be checked in. There should have been one and only one row skipped between your family and the next family which typically everyone always appreciates the added space. The next party did not get to choose their seats, they sat after the skipped row in front of your family. After that family was loaded the next party did not get to choose their seats, they were seated in the next skipped row after the previous party. This goes on until everyone is checked in, we do not load by age, gender or race but who ever is first and next in line. As far as the coach we apologize, that it is one of the last units to get upgraded, due to covid we still aren't operating 100% of our fleet. We are happy that you and your family had a safe trip up and back in an air conditioned coach, were dropped off, picked up relatively close to the sites and were offered complimentary things with everyone else.

I highly recommend this tour. We saw so many sites. The your guide was very knowledgeable. But I want to give special recognition to our driver. He took such special care of us, and went out of his way to make sure we had a special day. If you book this tour, you will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Arlington Cematary, Lincoln Memorial, Viet Nam Memorial. The entire tour was great. The only thing was we weren't aware of stopping by the Museums and they all needed advance tickets which we didn't have.
