A phenomenal experience with a very talented guide who reads a River better than most can read a book. Aaron was amazing with a paddle and was a stand up guy. The way he interacted with our family made us all forget we had just met him minutes prior. The river was amazing, and he knew every inch of it. Would definitely go again, and would for sure request Aaron.

The tour company is very well organized- all the guides were interactive, knowledgeable and funny. Kept us entertained on the bus ride over. Our guide Max was high energy and laser focused on keeping you safe and having fun! The rapids were amazing!

The entire team at Cherokee is exceptional and the whitewater trip was a great time for our entire family. This is a repeat trip for us as we had such a good time last year. From online booking, waivers, check in, to prep/pre-brief, and excursion, the team at Cherokee makes sure you have a great, and seamless, experience and can just enjoy the whitewater trip. They ensure you can focus on the fun/excitement while they handle all of the details, coordination and support in a very professional manner. We had Jamieson as a guide - exceedingly experienced on the water, knowledgeable about the area and very personable. Cherokee sets a standard when it comes to safety and professionalism that is lacking in some of the other outfitters in the area. They have a well-stocked merch store so if you forget any essentials (water shoes, glasses strap) or want something to remember your trip, they have it. They have onsite facilities to change/shower as well as games/activities for when you are waiting for your excursion. The very ample lunch mid-way through is a variety of sandwiches, shrimp, chips, watermelon, cookies and drinks...nice break to fuel up for the second part of the trip.
