Found out about this house/tour through the TV show Interview With the Vampire and originally wanted to visit the house since the show is set there... and yes, it was very cool to stand in the house where Louis and Lestat lived, but I also learned so much about the history- not just of the house and the family and enslaved people that lived there, but the city as a whole. Our tour guide was wonderful and answered all our questions! We were able to use the bathroom and fill up water bottles while we waited and then we went through almost every room in the house + the courtyard. 10/10 experience!

My husband and I found this tour to be one of the best in the city. The house is beautiful with period furniture and accurate furnishings and details according to historic records. Our guide was personable and very knowledgeable on the history of the house and times. Highly recommended. (3/17/2024)
