Galveston has seen a horrifying number of sudden deaths. An ungodly number of the islands dearly departed, well never departed. Their spirits are lurking in the shadows, alleys, staircases and stalk THE STRAND every day! The historic 19th century buildings on THE STRAND have become ghost sanctuaries. And the ghosts inside are just dying to meet you.

Join us on our 90 minute walking tour as we explore the fascinating paranormal happenings on the strand, the original street of horror. Hurricanes, war, fire, and epidemics! The pirate Jean Lafitte even turned the island into a den of thieves. Galveston has more ghosts than any other city in U.S.

Walking in the night, translucent figures will float by the windows. Shadows will suddenly appear and objects move of their own accord as we huddle closer to one another for are mutual protection. We never know what’s waiting for us around the corners. Beware and be scared! After all Galveston is nothing but “a cemetery with a beach attached.”

Thomas our guide was a funny guy and had a lot of great history to share about Galveston. I enjoyed the tour. If you are worried about walking for 90 min, fear not. It is several blocks down the strand but he let us sit while he talks along the way so its not bad. Unfortunately the "Shrimp Fest" had part of the Strand blocked so we were not able to visit some of the buildings I'd heard about my friends who recommended the tour. But it was still a good tour. Not scary, more historical.

Loved the history. It'd be cool to actually go up to the 6th floor of the old railroad depot. Thomas was great. Loved the dad jokes.
