Galveston has seen a horrifying number of sudden deaths. An ungodly number of the islands dearly departed, well never departed. Their spirits are lurking in the shadows, alleys, staircases and stalk THE STRAND every day! The historic 19th century buildings on THE STRAND have become ghost sanctuaries. And the ghosts inside are just dying to meet you.

Join us on our 90 minute walking tour as we explore the fascinating paranormal happenings on the strand, the original street of horror. Hurricanes, war, fire, and epidemics! The pirate Jean Lafitte even turned the island into a den of thieves. Galveston has more ghosts than any other city in U.S.

Walking in the night, translucent figures will float by the windows. Shadows will suddenly appear and objects move of their own accord as we huddle closer to one another for are mutual protection. We never know what’s waiting for us around the corners. Beware and be scared! After all Galveston is nothing but “a cemetery with a beach attached.”

We called Viator and spoke with an agent so we could pick a tour that had an inside portion because of the weather. We were told this tour went into the railroad museum and the opera house. We didn’t even talk about those two locations and the tour was completely outside.

I'm very sorry that via tour misinformed you. They completely missed the boat. As all of our websites indicate , our tours are conducted outside and we don't go into any of the buildings. They should have paid specific attention to your request. Please call via tour and ask for a refund and I'll approve it sorry for your inconvenience John 832-245-0492

Was a very active night, and we had a fairly large group. Unfortunately some of the group kept having to go get a drink or bathroom, causing the tour to be a bit shorter than would have liked. It was freezing, but still had fun, and even caught a few good ghost pics. Would do it again.

Pirate John was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Galveston and all things spooky about the island. We have been to Galveston several times but had never taken one of the tours. This was definitely worth the time and very affordable since we had ten in our group. John never missed a beat even when we were interrupted by unexpected noises or other people. He waited to finish his story until all could hear again. He is the best tour guide I believe I have ever had!! Watch out for the pirate jokes though!!!
