Les passagers doivent être âgés de 4 ans ou plus - et les jeunes enfants doivent s'adapter en toute sécurité à l'un de nos casques approuvés par le DOT. La GoCar est immatriculée en tant que moto - mais un permis moto n'est pas nécessaire pour conduire le véhicule.

I purchased these GOcars for my daughter and her boyfriend who were taking their first trip to San Francisco. I called and spoke to reservation agent and specifically told them that I wanted the Route that had my daughter going to through Golden Gate Park and to the Golden Gate Bridge. I also wanted my daughter kept out of the downtown area. I gave my daughter the reservation confirmation and also a route map so she knew which tour they would be taking. On the day of the reservation my daughter called me from San Francisco. She was at the office and person working at the counter did not speak English very well and my daughter was having a very difficult time understanding the information about insurance and deposits that were going to be put on her credit card. I called this office and attempted to also speak with the counter employee who I also could not understand because of her poor communication skills. She could not explain the insurance or what was covered and also the deposit. I asked for the number for the main reservation so I could speak to someone else. I ended up calling reservations to get clear what the extra charges were so I could then call back my daughter and help her understand. Then, my daughter attempted to explain to the counter clerk that they wanted to do the tour that take them to the Golden Gate Bridge. The counter clerk directed them to get on Chestnut street. It was only after a bit of time driving in the car that my daughter realized they were headed downtown. She did not know how to get back so she just kept on the route that car took them which was exactly where they did not want to be which was DOWNTOWN. My daughter said she was terrified the whole time. There were cars beeping at them, buses everywhere, her heart was pounding the whole time. She eventually asked her boyfriend to drive because she was too scared to go on. We are from a small rural town and being in a big city is a bit intimidating as it is, but she specifically asked to NOT go downtown and the counter agent sent her in the wrong direction. I was VERY upset with this place. My daughter felt that if a counter agent had been able to have better communication skills this whole scary experience could have been avoided. I would NOT recommend renting from the BEACH STREET location near Fishermans wharf. I called the next morning to share my concerns with the main office. They listened, but did not offer a refund or reduction because of the mess. I would say that the poor customer service would be the reason to avoid this attraction.

We had an awesome time on this - what a fantastic way to see San Fran! Loved every second... The only hiccup is that there are 2 locations where you can pick this up from. The voucher you recieve has both locations so you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right! Voucher should state the actual location not both so you might want to call the hire place before heading off!!

once yer off and going its very cool, the staff wasnt very clear on timings and prices etc...make sure you look at the time as it flies by and by then its too late and you have to race back to the office because your an hour behind schedule!!!!
