Our tour guide, Julie, was most accommodating, she made everyone on our small tour comfortable! Not only did we enjoy the destinations but Julie helped make the journey enjoyable as well! Coming from Ohio, in the midwest, we've never seen such sights as dessert and mountains along our way. The expanse of the Grand Canyon was awe-inspiring, but it couldn't beat the lower Antelope Canyon tour. Our tour was in January, but we bundled up, just as in Ohio, and were very comfortable. Don't miss this tour!

This is THE trip to take from Las Vegas to explore the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & more. The route & attractions have been selected with care to optimize your time: You see both famous & little-known lookout points & attractions, with a tour guide (Matthew!!) who is beyond thoughtful in every regard. We are two women in our 20s traveling together & had SOOO much fun, and also always felt 100% safe. (So, ladies, whether for solo or group travel, check out this tour!) We contemplated just renting a car & driving ourselves from Vegas but honestly would have missed out on so much AND would have been much more stressed out. *So* glad we did the tour instead! My friend Leonie says the following: “Matthew is such a good driver. We always felt safe. I’m prone to car sickness & never once felt ill with him driving. Matthew was really so nice, gentle, & kind. He takes all the photos you want, even motivates you to get good pictures & suggests the perfect spots & poses. He encourages everyone to take their time, knows all the good spots, & is so happy to help. You can ask him anything & he’ll explain. His Chinese is very good for the tourists who speak Chinese. Also the tour is great, of course. We saw 3 of the most amazing things we’ve seen in all our lives in 2 days. WiFi in the van was good, & you can charge your phones in the van too. He keeps tons of snacks & water available to everyone. We also stopped at some lesser-know-locations that were neat to explore. Overall, a once-in-a-lifetime & unforgettable experience.” Thank you, Matthew & MaxTour!!

Our guide Julie was great! We (myself and 18 year old daughter) went in January, so it was quite cold but we expected that. While everyone talks about the Grand Canyon, and it was great... we liked Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon even better. For Horseshoe Bend we were some of the first people there, so that was great. We stopped on Route 66, and Julie knew a Cowboy who would put you on a horse with a hat and gun for a pic. I'll post a few of those as there are a zillion pics of the other attractions. There is a fair amount of walking, and the Grand Canyon did have some ice patches.. I was the senior of the group (a fairly fit 50+ year old), and did just fine. The hotel for us was a Comfort Suites, which worked out ok. I liked the small group aspect of it, as you got to know people a little bit. And if you needed a bathroom break, the van could just pull over and no one cared...I couldn't imagine doing that with a full bus. The van itself was warm enough. In the back row it did get a bit bumpy... probably a combination of the roads and the van's suspension. We were so glad we did this tour. Thanks Julie and MaxTours!
