I had spent quite a bit of time trying to find a good tour for the grand canyon, setting off from Vegas. There were lots of options but many of them were single day trips. I had stopped looking for tours and looked into driving there myself along with booking some accommodation after being put off with 10 hours of travelling in a single day.
I found MaxTour and the overnight tour and I am so glad that I did as the tour was perfect. There was so much packed into the 2 days, but it didn't feel like a rush. There was plenty of time at all the stops to enjoy the spectacular views and take dozens of photos. There was quite a few stops on the way, with the longest stretch of sitting in the transport being around an hour and a half. On the way back there were less stops on the route back to Vegas, but there were timely bathroom breaks still every hour and a half.
Matthew, our guide, was friendly and accommodating. He drove the roads extremely well and safely which we were thankful for especially saying much of our tour was in snow and ice. He was also friendly and engaged with the group often in conversation when he wasn't focused on the road. He was also very good at throwing out suggestions for places to eat along the way.
The accomodation on the overnight stay was at a hotel called best west. The room was actually really nice and really modern. Honestly, it was better than our room in the Excalibur in Vegas. I really appreciate that MaxTour booked somewhere pleasent to stay, as it shows the care for their customers comfort and experience.
I honestly think I'll be booking this tour again in the future. I really want to do it all over again!

Hi William! Thank you so much for leaving this glowing review. I had so much fun leading this tour, the snow inside the Grand Canyon made for a fantastic view! Thanks for appreciating our safe driving and the accommodation we booked for you. There are some things we can't control on our tours, like the weather and the crowds. Two things that are absolutely under our control is how we drive and the accommodation booked for our guests, and we commit to getting these areas right. When our drivers are driving the speed limit and are recklessly passed by other tour companies, we feel bad for the guests inside their vehicles. We can only shake our head at the tour buses parked outside the Travelodge, Super 8, and Motel 6 while we drive our guests to the Best Western or Comfort Inn and Suites. Thanks so much for choosing us for your Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon tour, it was a pleasure to travel with you those two days.
