By far our most popular private hiking tour, this hike and sightseeing tour offers guests varying views of the Canyon, from the inside out. This tour is for guests who want to enjoy an excellent tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but also spend some time below the Rim.

Enjoy a great tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic guide who loves what they do. We provide door-to-door service from your stay place with everything you need to have a great time. Grab your camera and leave the lunch, snacks, beverages, hiking equipment, and driving to us! We pick up in the following towns: Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon.

Lunch will be ordered after booking. Gluten and/or dairy free available upon request.

The rest of the day is spent traveling to various viewpoints along the South Rim in a comfortable air conditioned van or SUV. At each viewpoint we will exit the vehicle and your guide will spend time showing you views through the provided spotting scope and regale you with interpretation that includes information about the plants, animals, peoples, history, and archaeology of the Grand Canyon. The viewpoints included depend on weather, time of year, crowds, and guide preference. They may include, but are not limited to: Mather Point, Grandview Point, Moran Point, Tusayan Ruins, and Desert View Watchtower.

We went on the Beginner Below the Rim tour with our 18, 16 and 14 year old. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end with our tour guide Molly. It was a hot July day and she came prepared with plenty of snacks ,drinks and motivation to keep us going on the trail. After the hike, we had a lovely lunch overlooking the canyon, followed by more amazing views and fun photos. She is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Canyon and did a great job of sharing information with the kids and answering all of their questions. . I would highly recommend this company and specifically Molly if you are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon.

Ask for Molly—from the moment she picked us up, she was friendly, lively and willing to make the beginning hiking tour what we wanted to be. We only had one day in the Grand Canyon and this was the perfect way to spend it. She showed us the highlights, drove us to beautiful spots, led us on a hike and kept us busy with facts and knowledge about the park. Molly obviously loves the area—her enthusiasm showed. She even tailored what she shared based on our interests and found us wild horses! Plus plenty of snacks, drinks and yummy lunch. Would definitely do again—in fact, considering returning to do a river tour with molly as our guide.

Jason could not have provided a more informative tour. We learned so much about everything from the Grand Canyon, to hiking, to the local wildlife! He was friendly, engaging, professional, and interesting. The gorgeous picnic lunch overlooking the canyon was wonderful and unexpected. We couldn't have asked for more, and would definitely recommend it!!
