We had an amazing day hiking Lamar Valley with Josh. Our family of 4 was joined by another family of 4. We hiked about 6 miles mainly off trail which made for a great back country experience. Josh was knowledgeable on geology, botany, animals, and the history of the park.

My husband and I had three amazing hikes; one each with Jennifer, Josh and Emily. We had a wonderful time and saw a lot of the park (Canyon, Bunsen, Lamar). We also learned so much about the park - its history, animals, vegetation, etc. My husband and I always include hikes in our summer vacations, but we felt like we got so much more out of these hikes with guides who were so knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the park. I feel like we really took the time to "stop and smell the roses". We would highly recommend taking a hike with YHG.

Josh led our group on an amazing hike to Lone Star geyser. Hiking with Josh was like hiking with a friend who also happens to know a lot of local history, geography, and wildlife information. Meeting up was quick and easy, he had all the gear ready to go, and the packed lunches were great. If I come back to Yellowstone, I will hike with Yellowstone Hiking Guides again.
