From route 66 in Williams to the Grand Canyon and back 2 days to remember. Had dinner at the Red Raven our first night in Williams. True gourmet dining in the most quaint, charming and romantic restaurant. Impeccable service. Stayed at the Grand Canyon Railroad Hotel. Newly remodeled, clean and comfortable. Lobby had beautiful artwork of the Grand Canyon. The lounge was hopping. The ride on the train the next morning was outstanding. A gentle ride, coffee in hand and strolling musicians playing old western songs. Scenery flowing by our window unobstructed views just like what you would have seen in times of old. The grand canyon one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Wow that's it just wow. Your eyes will not believe what they're seeing. You'll never forget it. The ride on the train back to Williams will turn you into a kid again. Desperados on horseback chasing down the train boarding and robbing the passengers. That part is hysterical. That's all I'm giving away.
I haven't had that much fun in ages. Take 2 days and just do it! You'll love the memories you make...
