I guess everyone should experience the train ride once. With that said here’s our experience. We rode up in the Pullman car. Basic seats, but comfy. If you wanted food the cafe car was 1 car back. The terrain is very flat, not really much to see. On the way back we upgraded to coach class. Not much different that Pullman but more money. And you still had to go the the cafe car. The other classes of car were much more expensive( I’m talking over 200$per person), and you got a scenic view and possibly some non alcoholic beverages and snacks. But the scenery , to me, wouldn’t be worth the cost. I guess I’d rather drive.
