Trip to the south rim was spectacular. However our bus arrived 20 minutes late for our pick up time! Assigned seating was a great idea unfortunately we were at the very back of the bus, all the hotel pick ups before us were in the front of the bus. The Audio on the left side of the bus didn’t work and when we tried to tell our guide Prince he got very defensive. He also spoke way too fast. Our guide Prince was extremely militaristic! I haven’t been given orders like he did since my boot camp! We were on Greyline bus number 1856 and although clean it showed its age. Seats were hard and for a long ride my derrière didn’t appreciate it! We arrived at the video centre at 11:39, the video was 45 minutes thank god they held the video for us! But we were told to be back on the bus no later than 12:45! After gobbling down our lunch we barely made it to the bus. No time to shop for souvenirs! This probably wouldn’t have been an issue if the bus was not 20 minutes late picking us up! We found even at the next two stops everything was far too rushed! Prince’s favourite saying ( which he said at every stop) “ DON’T BE THAT GUY” funny at first but that got very tiresome by the end of the tour. Given the choice I would not choose this company again! Based on the guide’s attitude and demeanour!

Dear jeffs527, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we are sorry for missing your expectations. When you work around the busiest tourism corridor in the world occasional delays come with the territory and are usually the result of heavier than normal traffic, unscheduled road works, or difficulty locating guests at a previous pickup point. We are sorry that this affected your day. Even with a late pickup time, this does not affect the time allocated at each designated stop. The times we spend at stops have been determined by feedback we have received from guests over the 40+ years we have been taking travelers to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We do apologize if you felt rushed. Finally, I would like to say that Prince is one of our most popular staff members and for those that want to read back through the posts here on Viator they will find that his reviews are consistently in the 5 star range. In closing, I want to once again apologize for missing your sightseeing expectations, and I want to wish you all the best in your future travels. Sincerely, Michael S. / GL Vegas Customer Service

Bus number 1856 Greyline. 1139 arrived at centre video was 45 minutes long. No time for gift shopping at all! Bus was to leave at 1235. If they had been on time to pick us up we would have had more time for lunch. Everything was far too rushed. The same at every stop. Very little time due to Prince. His favourite saying which he repeated CONSTANTLY was “don’t be that guy”. Funny he was in the morning as our bus showed up almost 30 minutes late! All and all the trip was nice, but I wouldn’t use this company again!
