We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this experience for those contemplating it. Our advice is to not stay in Peach Springs though, that is a 100 mile out of your way trip since the only road to the skywalk is via Kingman or Las Vegas. If you are not coming from Vegas, we suggest you stay in Kingman hotel not Hualapai Lodge in Peach Springs. We thought that would be closer and we googled directions and found out when we registered in the Hualapai lodge in Peach Springs that those roads on google are impassible and that we had to backtrack (50 miles) to Kingman to get to the road for the skywalk. Stay in Kingman!
Regarding the venue, you cannot take a camera or phone on the skywalk and there are photographers that take your pictures, they are very good and the price while somewhat steep ($65 for a 15 pic package or $25 for one pic) they are worth it, you will not find anything else like it and the photographers are very personable.
You park at the ticket bldg, take a bus (one comes about every 15 minutes) to the skywalk, you show your ticket again and then walk the skywalk. Then you can take a shuttle bus to Guano Point and then back to the main bldg. It is well run, if you want to eat, restaurants at both points have a price fix menu of $21 per person. There are also picnic tables if you want to bring your own food.
