Very disappointed.
Overpriced and overrated. Yes, Grand Canyon is magnificent itself, however park's location and organization is very bad...
First, you cannot go by car, you need to left car and use shuttle.
Once you get to the Eagle Point where skywalk is - there is a very dangerous cliff and no secure fences, so please consider to hold your kids by your side all the time. More over there are huge cracks at cliff closer to the building, please watch your steps and not get too close.
Second, you cannot take anything with you and do any pictures to the skywalk. The pricing for photography is very HIGH! $65 for 15 pictures ...with other people on the back also doing pictures. But you still want to have pictures so it makes no choice and you have to pay.
And third, the biggest concern is a shuttle organization. After eagle point we went on a shuttle (took second as first was full + 20 minutes) hop off on the second observation point. It took you about 15-20 minutes to see everything.
After 20 minutes we returned to the shuttle stop and waited FOR 1.30 HOUR until we were able to fit into the buss!!! With kids. No restaurant or shop or water fountain open to get some water.
The experience we got was a huge disappointment. Please think twice before going there.
The Grand Canyon National Park is much much better to visit.
