Tour en hélicoptère du Grand Canyon West avec promenade en bateau et repas en option

Aperçu
Sightseers at the Grand Canyon West can experience the park with this exciting helicopter and boat adventure. At our nearby air terminal, you'll board a luxury helicopter and descend a breathtaking 4,000 feet to the canyon floor. Your helicopter will land near the bank of the Colorado River rushing nearly a mile below the canyon rim.

You'll then board a pontoon boat and enjoy a smooth water cruise along this ancient river, which continues to erode and carve the canyon to this day. You'll witness the changing colors and textures of the stone walls on either side of you as you float peacefully between the Grand Canyon West.

After your boat tour, you'll board your helicopter to be returned to the canyon rim.

Yes, you have awesome view points like Guano point on the West rim, but to truly experience the grandeur and magnificence of Grand Canyon, you need to do the Helicopter tour. We did not do the boat ride, but even the Helicopter ride is awesome, and gives you some great views. The staff are very efficient, and get things done quickly. Would highly recommend to do this. It is money worth spent, and if you include the $50 legacy pass it includes, it only costs around $150, which is not bad at all.

They all said that 4 hours in Grand Canyon West Rim is enough but I am telling you that it was not enough when you include the helicopter and boat ride. We were arriving at the West Rim around 11am and then we were told that we should be at the bus for journey back to Las Vegas at 3pm and we should went for the heli and boat first before doing anything else, including lunch and the skywalk. The fact is we completed our heli and boat ride a little more than 2pm, after that we must go to Eagle Point which 15-20min ride by bus to get lunch. After lunch, it's already 3pm and we must go back. We only passed through Hualapalai Ranch and Guano Point and barely seen Eagle Point and we got nasty look from the guide and other bus passengers for making them late. The guide didn't even bother to hear our explanation. On top of this, there was a terrible smell coming from the rest room in the bus throughout the journey We didn't purchase the skywalk tickets but I think we won't have time to see it if we did purchase the tickets and it would be a total waste I strongly suggest Papillon reduce the waiting time for the helicopter ride and the higiene of the bus, otherwise I won't recommend this tour

We appreciate you taking time to post a review of your tour experience and we sincerely apologize that the tour didn't meet your expectations. In regards to the frustrations you experienced on the ground at the Grand Canyon, we completely understand your complaint. Unfortunately, we do not oversee the ground operations, the shuttle service nor operate the tour bus that departs Las Vegas. We do control the scheduling of our aircraft and the amount of people we fly out and always try to take into consideration how the crowds will be on the ground. We take your review very seriously and we appreciate the feedback - this review will be forwarded to our ground transportation partner for review. If you wish further assistance, we encourage you to reach out to our Guest Relations department at [email protected] with your reservation number or last name used to book the tour. They can take a look at the overall timing of your tour to ensure that you received everything we guarantee, and can offer you assistance. Respectfully, Papillon Management

We had an amazing time on the tour. The staff were friendly and helpful. The health and safety guidelines were very clear. Unfortunately we had booked through Viator and they had booked us onto a helicopter only tour by mistake, which we discovered on landing back at the heliport instead of at the base but the team were extremely helpful and sorted it all out and sent us up and out again so we could do the boat ride too. Was an amazing experience and the landing at the base and boat ride really made the experience real. We were not rushed and free to enjoy the scenery. Would definitely recommend using Papillon and thank them again for a fantastic experience. Process is all are weighed initially then a video is played for health and safety. Once ready, staff take you out to the helicopters and you are put in seating order depending on weight. The flight only was a great round trip going into crevices, whilst the landing at base was a short but great flight around then down. Once out there is a walk to the boat and about a 15 minute ride on the water with lots of information about the canyon. There is time to walk around the designated area before going back up with a limited amount of shade and free drinking water. It is much hotter in the base that at the top of the west rim. Then a short flight back in a different route so more of the Canyon can be seen before being dropped back at the heliport.
