The Grand Canyon is absolutely breathtaking and worth the trip! However I do recommend just renting a car and driving yourself, I am so disappointed with the bus tour. Our bus driver, Lorraina, was rude immediately upon us hopping on the bus. We stood by the bus door for quite some time, waiting for her to open the door. I guess she was too focused on her phone to know we were standing there waiting. After waiting awhile, I pressed a button on the door that said "open," assuming that's what I needed to do. She instantly yelled at me for opening the door and angrily gave me my ticket. I didn't know what to say, I couldnt believe it. Never got a good morning or any pleasant words from her.
Once we picked up the rest of the passengers, Lorraina complained the someone didnt get their ticket, and whoever it was needed to come to the front of the bus because she "doesn't make deliveries." How rude, SHE was the one that forgot to give him his ticket.
There was no excitement in her voice the entire trip, a little charisma can go a long way to get visitors excited!
When dropping everyone off, she was asking people where her tip was. When it was my turn to get off the bus, she did not ask me for a tip. She actually didnt say a word. Not a thanks, hope you enjoyed your trip, or have a good night, nothing. Complete silence.
Aside from her unpleasantness, the Groupon I purchased was for a 4 hour tour of the Grand Canyon. We were only there 3 hours. The Groupon also stated that there would be a 20 minute stop at the Hoover Dam for pictures. Well, we drove past it on the way back and never stopped. I understand now that its closed due to Covid, but not once was it ever mentioned that we weren't stopping there, let alone staying 3 hours instead of 4. I even called to confirm everything the day before the tour. I am very disappointed. I did not get what I paid for. If I ever get to go back I will be renting my own vehicle. The company needs to get in touch with groupon and update their itineraries so this doesnt keep happening.

So sorry your driver was less than hospitable; we will deal with this as we expect all of our drivers/tour guides to provide outstanding customer service. Regarding the Hoover Dam, yes it is closed due to COVID 19 and we will ensure that Groupon is aware of this issue. Please have a Happy New Year and safe traveis.
