Grand Canyon West Rim avec arrêt photo du barrage Hoover au départ de Las Vegas

La rive ouest du Grand Canyon a beaucoup à offrir et cette visite vous permet de tout voir ! En route vers le Grand Canyon, faites un bref arrêt pour une séance photo du barrage Hoover depuis le pont de contournement. Une fois au canyon, vous aurez 3 heures pour admirer de magnifiques vues depuis Eagle Point et Guano Point. Bravez la passerelle en verre qui s'étend sur 700 pieds au-dessus du sol du Canyon et à près de 4 000 pieds au-dessus du sol (disponible à l'achat). Cette visite comprend à la fois un petit-déjeuner continental léger et un déjeuner en option, ainsi que la prise en charge et le retour à l'hôtel dans la plupart des hôtels locaux.

Grand Canyon Ouest

Une fois sur place, vous recevrez un ticket pour le déjeuner et votre ticket de navette qui vous permettront de vous déplacer très facilement dans le canyon. Vous aurez environ trois (3) heures pour explorer ici par vous-même.

Passerelle du Grand Canyon
Votre premier arrêt sera Eagle Point. Ici, vous pouvez sortir sur la passerelle en verre, une terrasse en verre en forme de U qui s'étend sur 70 pieds au-delà du bord du Canyon, vous offrant une vue complète de la chute de 4 000 pieds jusqu'au fleuve Colorado en contrebas. Les vues d'ici sont tout simplement spectaculaires et assurez-vous de repérer l'aigle dans le rocher en face. Toujours à Eagle Point se trouve un village amérindien qui affiche de nombreuses maisons tribales et dépeint le mode de vie des indigènes locaux et vous pouvez assister à des activités culturelles telles que des spectacles de danses indiennes dans l'amphithéâtre. Il s'agit d'une mise à niveau facultative que vous pouvez sélectionner lors du paiement.

De là, vous pouvez vous diriger vers Guano Point avec des vues encore plus spectaculaires sur le fleuve Colorado. Vous pouvez parcourir le sentier ici qui mène au point culminant où la vue panoramique offre une vue majestueuse sur le fleuve Colorado ou simplement vous détendre et profiter du calme du Grand Canyon West tout en savourant un repas chaud avec une vue imprenable !

We were picked up from the tour bus pickup area situated in the parking area below the Aria Hotel at 6:45 am by a small sweet-tours bus which took us to a central depot where we joined our driver Walter, collected our breakfast and boarded the Main tour bus! Now Walter is a funny man, has a wealth of knowledge about the area and is a great tour guide. We stopped at the Hoover Dam for photos en route and had several ‘stops’ opportunities to buy souvenirs, toilet breaks and get snacks and drinks before arrival at the Grand Canyon. (This took 4 hours roughly) You are dropping off at a central area where you decide which area to visit first, Eagle point, Guano ridge or the entertainment area (not much going on in October) but there is a native Indian shop here where you can buy some souvenirs. Eagle point has the viewing platform which you can upgrade to if you choose to (not for us). The views however are Amazing from both viewing area’s and you will not regret doing this tour, The Grand Canyon really is a Wonder if the natural world and the Western side is on Native American land so has been kept as natural as possible which in this day and age is great to see. Highly recommend this trip.

We had a wonderful time travelling out to the Grand Canyon and back. Jackie, our driver, was full of amazing information about Las Vegas and the area around. She even gave us the best tips to get the most out of our time at the West Rim. The Grand Canyon is amazing and we hope to come back to visit again soon.

I highly recommend this tour. Walter was the best guide. He is funny, informative and knows a great deal about Vegas and the Grand Canyon. He provides insight on all things Las Vegas present and past. From the Hoover Damn/Mojave Desert/Grand Canyon to the best burger spot along the way. If you can find out what day and time he does his tours. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to tip Walter for all the tips he provides you on this day trip.
