I had fun on this walking tour of Downtown Atlanta. My favourite thing about the tour was our guide Ashley's capacity to tell compelling stories about the city's history and current culture. It is clear that she is a passionate educator and a savvy foodie. The food itself did leave a little to be desired, mostly because I'm not a huge fan of very sweet food. However, it was really interesting to learn more about southern American cuisine.

We intentionally keep our tour size to a minimum because we want each guest to be immersed into the city, history, and food that we are so passionate about. Great review, thank you!

First let me say KUDOS to our tour guides LAUREN and SARAH! They were personable, knowledgeable, professional and extremely entertaining. They provided our small group of four participants with a wealth of information about not only the cuisine of the restaurants that we visited but of the entire southern region of the US. They gave us information about the regional architecture of the neighborhoods we were touring and historical data and stories about the beautiful Oakland cemetery. I am a 40+year resident of GA and I found it all utterly fascinating! Then in the midst of the tour my aunt discovered she had lost her scarf, and,between Lauren's calls to the 1st restaurant and Sarah's lone trek retracing our steps, the scarf was recovered! They are to be commended for providing service that definitely went beyond the call of duty! The food and beverages at each stop were top notch and delicious! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour to both visitors and even longtime residents like myself who want to get to know their adopted home a little better!!!
