The fact that we saw so many whales and their babies is not due to Eclipse Charters. This is a lot about luck, and all the operators share information with each other. However, our guide, Deb, was incredibly knowledgeable about the whales, and knew all of their names and how old they were. Our captain and Deb both were great about pointing out bald eagles as well. Deb was a fount of information overall, and we had the best whale watching experience we've ever had.

This was by far the best charter we have been on. The captain, Dan, and his wife were very knowledgeable and attentive. We were able to bring our 1 yr old daughter along and still enjoyed the trip very much. The accomodations were very comfortable and allowed for great views. We were lucky enough to see whales almost the entire tour! We will definitely visit them again.

This was one of the most memorable moments of our trip to Orcas Island. Dan & Denise are the best guides ever. The whales had went up north and Dan took us up into Canadian waters so we could see the whales. We just loved our trip and they were the best hosts ever! Would definitely do again and am recommending to all our friends who go to Orcas Island! Their boat was the best also as it has a deck on top that you could go up on or stay in the cabin of the boat that was heated.
