We really enjoyed our trip to the Gypsy Gold Horse Farm. The talk Dennis gave was informative and interesting. We were impressed with the amount of respect and dignity he gave to an often marginalized and belittled community- the Romani/Gypsy. It was refreshing to hear someone who had a deep love for educating himself and others about both animals and people, looking to stamp out prejudices. The farm is beautiful and we loved getting to feed and interact with the animals (horses, mules, donkeys, goats, birds). Be aware that you may want to bring bug spray. There are also fire ant hills on the property so wear appropriate footwear.

Dear Nora, thanks for the great review and for recognizing the opportunity the Vanner Horse holds to also bring a better understanding of the people who created it.
Please return one day,
Dennis and Erin
