The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

La ferme d'or tzigane

nos quarante-cinq premières minutes sont un voyage éducatif mené par Dennis Thompson, le découvreur et fondateur de la race Gypsy Vanner Horse. Dennis et Erin vous présenteront ensuite un étalon Gypsy Vanner et vous expliqueront le look et les détails envisagés uniques à la race Vanner. Votre deuxième heure est une promenade parmi les paddocks remplis de chevaux bordés de chênes centenaires chargés de la romantique mousse espagnole du sud. Au cours de votre promenade, vous rencontrerez de beaux étalons et juments et de sympathiques bébés Gypsy Vanner Horse. Votre visite de la ferme Gypsy Gold se termine par une séance photo avec un incroyable étalon Gypsy Vanner Horse et une visite à la boutique de cadeaux Gypsy Gold.

I can not say enough about this experience. The property is beautiful; Dennis, the owner, is welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining; the horses are magnificent. My husband was not looking forward to going, but loved it! Can’t wait for another visit.

Thanks Fultymana, just today a man was in the parking lot, he was dropping his wife off with expectations of driving around until she finished the tour. I ask that he give the tour a chance, he did and like your husband he loved it. As you know the Gypsy Gold tour is not just about horses. It is a historical experience and a fascinating look into one of the worlds most colorful, least understood societies. I am not a horse person but my wife is. This two hour your was very informative as well as fun. The owners of the horse farm were very friendly and answered all questions posed to them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going through or to the Ocala area as a way to spend a few hours. These horses are beautiful (and I mentioned above that I'm not a horse person, lol). I wish the owners of Gypsy Gold Farm success in there mission and their gold for their farm! In a couple years, once she's a bit older, I plan on taking my grand daughter here and I look forward to the improvements they want to make being a reality!

A unique and very pleasant visit to see the wonderful Gypsy Vanner horses. The hosts, Dennis and Erin, were enthusiastic and friendly and great ambassadors for the breed. Dennis gave a most informative talk about the breed and how he brought them to the US. A visit to the Gypsy gold Horse Farm is a must if you are in the Ocala area. Definitely highly recommended!
