I was hoping for Victoria as our guide because she is cute and at least half my age. We wound up with Rob, who is a long haired semi-vegitarian, so it wasn't too much of a stretch.
In all seriousness...this is a great group of people. If you haven't been rafting before, you couldn't ask for a better start. If you have been rafting, this is a liesurely half day on a great river.
As with all things, people make the difference. The M2W crew delivers in spades. Very family friendly. Very fun. Not only do they take you down river, but they'll tell you everything to do and see and eat in Durango, provide comedy (?), and you'll leave the river with some new friends. I wish I could give them more stars.
*No need to get a bodysuit or boots.
**Animas is derived from Latin. It means soul or life. A better translation would be: That which arouses life and brings it into consciousness. NOT the River of Lost Souls, no matter what your guide tells you.
